Happy First Quarter Moon 🌓
We’ve just crossed the threshold of the Equinox and New Moon this past weekend where light and dark stood in perfect balance. This was a turning point into fall reminding us that endings and beginnings are woven together. 🕸️
The month of October arrives in true Spooky Season fashion with the magical glow of a super moon, close, and impossible to ignore. The Super Full Moon in the fire sign Aries will peak on the first Monday (Moon-day) of October, on the 6th. Super moons are closer to us than usual so they always amplify emotions and intuition, and with it also being the first of the season, it feels like a cosmic autumnal doorway. This one draped in glimmers of destiny calls for release—letting go of the fears, the doubts, and the pushback that keep us from fully stepping into our truth.
As the air grows crisp and the leaves begin to shift, we are invited into our own transformation—finding balance, honoring what we’ve outgrown, and making space for what’s next. While the moon grows, it highlights not just what we’re ready to shed, but also what’s been waiting inside us to shine. 🌟
Our gifts, our joy, our true happiness—they’re already there, but sometimes we hide them behind old stories. Stuck repeating cycles. This auspicious time encourages us to push past that resistance, shine bright, and to claim the life that feels aligned with our spirit. Just as the leaves turn to shades of fire—burnt orange, scarlet red, yellow and gold—before they fall, we too are invited to release with beauty and warmth. The season teaches us that letting go can be radiant, and bold, not heavy. We step into this next cycle with the same grace: shedding what no longer serves us, so we can walk forward lighter, braver, and more rooted in our truth. We are the only thing holding us back.
🌕 To give us further insight and guidance for the collective, I consulted two of my Oracle decks and created a journal prompt or a reflection to ponder upon this week. The decks I used were the Dreamweaver’s Oracle & Moon Phase Oracle. I pulled one card from each and of course checked the bottoms of the decks. I think of the bottom of the deck as clarification cards. Like a “zoom in.”
🔮 Dreamweaver’s Oracle – Painting Joy Across the Sky reminds us that even in the midst of September coming to a close, may we carry forward the wisdom of balance from the equinox and the courage of this full moon. October opens as an invitation—a chance to release what no longer serves and step more fully into the warmth of our truth. May this next chapter bring clarity, joy, and a deeper rooting into all that lights us up. of release, there is space for joy, color, and creativity in our lives. The clarification card, Time to Feed the Hungry Heart signals that tending to what nourishes us emotionally is essential as we let go of what keeps us from our happiness.
🔮Moon Phase Oracle – Full Moon in Leo: Don’t Let Pride Get in Your Way encourages humility and openness in our interactions, while the bottom card, Super Moon: Emotions Are Running High, ( I couldn’t make this up if I tried. The synchronicities are synchronizing ) mirrors the amplified energy of this time—urging us to honor our feelings without letting them control us.
Journal Prompt / Reflections: With this Fall Season & Aries Super Moon energy, ask yourself ..What fears or patterns are ready to be released, and How can I boldly step into my gifts, joy, and heart’s desires this season? What are my gifts and special talents ? What did I enjoy doing as a child? How can I honor my emotions while staying aligned with my true path?
As September comes to a close, may we carry forward the wisdom of balance from the equinox and the courage of this super moon. October opens as an invitation—a chance to release what no longer serves and step more fully into the warmth of our truth. May this next chapter bring clarity, joy, and a deeper rooting into all that lights us up.
